Win4Lin Home allows you to run your favorite Windows applications on the Linux operating system in the fastest Windows 95/98/ME environment available for Linux. You can now get all the advantages of running both Windows and Linux simultaneously. The stability, security, and administrative capabilities of Linux are now partnered with the vast number of Windows applications on which you have come to depend. Win4Lin Home enables Linux users to run Windows programs concurrently with their existing Linux applications without additional hardware or the need to dual boot. Win4LinHome dramatically improves productivity and saves you money by reducing hardware and OS license upgrade costs
Win4Lin Home is a lightweight highly functional version of our premium Win4Lin 5 product. Win4Lin Home offers you the benefits of running a few concurrent Windows applications on Linux without some of the features required by Win4Lin power users. Win4Lin Home offers a lightweight and fast Winsock networking stack that shares an IP address with your Linux PC. This Winsock network stack offers you sufficient networking capabilities for most tasks.

Hardware Requirements
- Intel Pentium-class or compatible processor recommended (limited x86 support)
- 64 MB of memory
- CD-ROM drive
- Floppy drive (if your Windows installation CD is not bootable)
- 155 MB disk space for system-wide Windows installation. Additional disk space required for applications.
Software Requirements
- Linux kernel 2.4.X or later
- Like the full Win4Lin 5 product, Win4Lin Home supports all Linux distributions including Fedora Core 3, though some kernels including Fedora Core 3 will require patching. - Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME (one license per user)
- Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME full installation CD and boot floppy disk if CD is not bootable
- X Window System (16-bit color recommended)
- Ability to run as root and install a kernel
