Before you download DivX® software, please ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements shown below. If you can manage it, we recommend as powerful a machine and video card as you can get your grubby little hands on, but here are the minimum requirements for those of you still living in the twentieth century. ;-)

These minimum requirements are measured for full-screen video playback with playback quality settings at their lowest levels. Better quality playback can be achieved with faster CPUs.

Rate of video encoding depends primarily upon your CPU speed and properties of the source material. Minimum specification computers are not recommended for live capture applications.
